Lily-Jo is a singer songwriter from Manchester with a passion to inspire and promote freedom. LJ has created and developed her own award winning online self-help resource called The Lily-Jo Project. Lily-Jo has now reached a point where a personal assistant is needed, especially with her administration and sales. Lily-Jo runs three businesses:
LILY-JO LIVE (Gigs, Events, Merchandise, PA Hire)
THE LILY-JO PROJECT (Online mental health resources, Workshops, Podcast)
UNSTOPPABLE LIFE COACHING (One to One coaching within corporates and with Individuals)
Job title: PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO LILY-JO
Rate of pay: £7.00 – £10.00 per hour, depending on experience, to be invoiced monthly
Initial amount of hours per week: between 0 – 10 spread throughout the week, from a mixture of your home, and our office. Please note this position is on a freelance basis on a 0 hour contract, therefore the applicant must be flexible and also able to look after their own tax return and National Insurance Contributions.
The successful applicant will assist Lily-Jo with all of the above and have a good knowledge and understanding of the following systems and software programs:
- Gmail
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Powerpoint
- All social media platforms
- Word Press
The successful applicant must have:
- Excellent written communication skills for blog writing/editing, press releases, social media posts, document creation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for liaising with promoters, team members including volunteers, Lily-Jo’s fans at shows, teachers, funders, life-coaching clients.
- Scheduling musicians / dancers and booking hotels / airplanes / trains
- The applicant would need to be able to create and manage administrative systems, for example merchandise
- Invoicing and payment chasing
- Must work productively and efficiently

Potential added extra requirements:
- On some occasions Lily-Jo may require the successful applicant to tour around the UK/ World with Lily-Jo as and when necessary – acting as a tour manager / live social media updates etc
- Calling up potential new clients for Lily-Jo introducing them to her businesses.
- Willing to do personal jobs including pick ups from school (Lily-Jo has two children ages 10 and 5)
- Setting up merchandise and selling it at shows
- Social media at live shows
- Good Managerial skills, helping to look after a team of volunteers
All expenses incurred for any of the above would be re-imbursed.
Desirables:
- Full UK driving license
- Own transport preferred (expenses will be paid if car is used for Lily-Jo purposes)
- Own laptop necessary
- Own phone necessary (expenses can be paid towards phone bill)
- Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement
Interviews will be held on: FRIDAY 31 AUGUST 2018, 1pm in Heaton Moor, Stockport
For the interview you will be asked to carry out a series of practical tasks in order to see where your strengths lie.
