These charities are full of amazing individuals* who may be able to help you further.
YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.
“Betel UK” run free, long-term residential centres across the country, and currently house nearly 350 men and women, helping them to start breaking free from addiction.
“Mind” provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
“Mind” campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. They say,
‘We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.’
Use Counselling Directory, an online tool to help find a counsellor or psychotherapist near you.
‘If there’s something troubling you, then get in touch.’ The ‘Samaratians’ number is available to call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Just having someone to talk to that isn’t family or friends can be a tremendous help.
“Image” operates a pregnancy helpline; help by phone, text, e-mail or face-to-face for those struggling with pregnancy or can be there to help parents who are struggling.
“Beat” is the UK’s leading charity supporting anyone affected by eating disorders or difficulties with food, weight and shape. Beat’s vision is that eating disorders will be beaten.
