It’s Finally Here! – Run 10K // Raise £10K for The Lily-Jo Project
It’s finally here guys! This Saturday, October 6th, Lily-Jo and a team of supporters are running 10K to raise £10K in funds to ensure people of all ages, all over the world, continue to have access to the mental health resources provided by The Lily-Jo Project. With our ultimate goal being to erase the stigma against mental health completely, this means we’re in this for the long haul and want to continue to keep The Lily-Jo Project alive and improving.
We are inspired to bring even more expert advise, tips, and personal stories of hope to the platform in the future, and we even have exciting plans to set up a bespoke text messaging service to encourage and support individuals struggling. We are so excited for our continued development, and we want YOU to be a part of it.
After running 10K, Lily-Jo is hosting an After Run Party to celebrate the work of The Lily-Jo Project, and help us raise funds so we can keep the website online and continue to grow the platform and mental health community. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening, who’s involved, and how you can be a part of it!
Here’s What’s Happening
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 6th at 1:00 PM prompt; this is when the After Run Party will officially begin at Ivy Church in Didsbury. What you can expect is a family friendly, positive, and fun afternoon out for everyone! We’ll have activities for the kids including games, face painting, and a bouncy castle. We’ll also have food vendors, guest performances and speakers throughout the day, along with opportunities to win special raffle prizes from local businesses. And to top it all off, Lily-Jo herself will give a full performance to close the event!
Introducing our Special Guests
