September is here which means here in the UK it is back to school, back to college, and back to university. This is also true for me too…yep, you read that right! I am off to university!!!!
The Lily-Jo Project has been selected by the expert team at Cambridge Social Ventures to receive one to one business support and training as I continue to steer the project towards further growth & sustainability. I feel so privileged and excited to be one of twelve social ventures selected for the programme. The programme is linked to Cambridge University and has a track record of growing social enterprises like mine to new levels. Cambridge will become my second home as I road trip down from Manchester once a month for training, workshops and meetings! I’m very excited and looking forward to building a community base there.
New music
I’ve been working alongside musicians and songwriters Jake Isaac and Fez to create my next release. Philippa Hanna popped in for an afternoon to help write a song with us, as well as the wonderful Tom Read and of course Dave Fidler. Release date announced soon but tracks should be hitting Apple Music and Spotify soon!
